Empowering Knowledge. Developing Leaders. Advancing Sustainable Energy.
The ACEN Energy Academy is the education and professional development initiative of the African & Caribbean Energy Network (ACEN), dedicated to building knowledge, strengthening technical capacity, and empowering the next generation of energy professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers across Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond. Through accessible, expert-led courses and practical learning opportunities, the Academy equips learners with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the evolving global energy landscape.
Our courses cover key areas including renewable energy, energy poverty, Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7), solar energy development, clean energy investment, ESG due diligence, carbon markets, and net-zero pathways.
Designed for learners at different stages of their professional journeys, the Academy offers flexible, self-paced learning, from foundational energy education to advanced industry-focused training, with certificates of completion.
Guided by ACEN's mission to end energy poverty, advance sustainable energy solutions, and strengthen international cooperation, the Academy promotes informed leadership, innovation, and practical action toward a more equitable and energy-secure future.
Our mission is simple: To educate, equip, and empower individuals with the knowledge to drive meaningful change in the energy sector.
Learn. Lead. Power the Future.
